Dermafile Product Details

Dermafile™ is a skin polishing and resurfacing tool made of stainless steel and finely crushed cosmetic diamonds. This file will lightly polish the skin by hand, removing the top layer of dead skin cells, and leaving velvety smooth, fresh, rejuvenated skin. You have total control over the process, allowing varying levels of the epidermis to be safely removed. This tool may be used on any part of the body. It is a very effective tool for treating aging and sun damaged skin, scars, acne scarring, pigmentation, stretch marks, fine lines and enlarged and clogged pores. Dermafile is the perfect tool for back treatments. It will also smooth rough calloused skin on elbows, knees, hands and feet.

Dermafile™ Instructions:
Clean the skin to be smoothed using a small amount of a Gentle Cleansing Gel. Rinse well. Reapply a small amount of the cleanser to damp skin. Keeping the skin damp gently glide the MyDermafile™ across the skin using a back and forth or a circular motion. Glide the Dermafile™ over the entire area of skin to be smoothed in this fashion. Dermafile may also be done on very dry skin for more agressive treatments. Make sure that you do not over work any area or make it raw or red. Rinse well and apply a soothing oil such as Jojoba Oil or a nonirritating cream for sensitive skin. Reapply as often as needed for one or two days. By the third day you may go back to your regular skin care regimen.

Frequency of use:
It is recommended that Dermafile™ be used on a monthly basis to avoid sensitivity and thinning of the skin. You will thicken the dermas, reduce scarring, sun damage and smooth the skin in a safe and healthy way by taking it slow.

Important:
Discontinue RetinA, alpha hydroxyl acids and salisylic acid products 5 days prior to using the MyDermafile™ and for 3 days after. Always use a good SPF30 sunblock whenever you are exfoliating your skin. Be sure to use skin care products that are made for your skin type.

Cleaning Instructions: Dermafile may be cleaned with detergent and water for home use and with a hospital grade enzyme cleanser and cold sterile disenfectant for professional use. A small ultrasonic cleaner is highly recommended.
