My name is Lesley Lind. I have been working full time in the skincare and permanent makeup industry as a licensed Aesthetician since 1993. In my search for new and better ways of giving my clients the best skin care treatments possible, I have designed a simple tool that will polish and resurface the skin. It is designed to give a lifetime of effective treatments when properly cared for. These tools have been successfully used by myself and other estheticians since 2004. We have all charged $100 or more per treatment. . Our clients Love the results they get and schedule regular treatments. The Dermafile™ can be incorporated into other treatments, facials or chemical peels and may be used pre IPL. It just depends on your experience and expertise as a skin care professional as to what you can accomplish. I have personally done very few chemical peels on my clients since I have been using the Dermafiles™. This treatment is quick and painless and the skin feels as smooth as glass afterwards. It is very effective for treating aging, sun damaged skin, scars, pigmentation, stretch marks, fine lines, enlarged, clogged pores, and rough calloused skin. The Dermafile™ comes in four grit sizes: fine, medium, coarse, and extra coarse. The esthetician has total control over the whole process. You are able to polish any skin type with a fine file, the most scarred or sun damaged skin with a medium or coarse file, and treat normal skin to polished perfection with a medium file. The Dermafile™ will complement any skin care regimen. I feel strongly that every esthetician would benefit greatly by having their own set of Dermafiles™ to use as a complete treatment or to work on a small area that needs to be smoothed out during a facial. Another added bonus is the very little space that the Dermafiles™ take up. I keep mine stored in my UV cabinet. They are affordable, portable and maintenance free aside from proper cleaning.
